The design is based on the lines of the classic home, with a central axis that runs from the front to the back of the garden. Powerful lines and spaces create the walkways and platforms that form the backbone of the design. The hard elements bring visual order, while the lighting, decoration and plants create a luscious atmosphere. Plants that stay green throughout the year, plus plants that bloom in different tints, textures and heights add to this effect. There are also surrounding borders, a suspended vegetable garden and a tree house.
The materials are diverse and harmonious: paths and terraces in robust cement tiles, with granite-coloured basalt tiles around the swimming pool and a lot of composite wood. The spacious terrace is covered by an automatic awning when it rains or becomes too sunny. The lounge area next to the swimming pool is cosy and intimate. In nice weather, a part of the floating roof opens. And the elongated cut-outs reveal the green vegetation behind it—a clever architectural detail. The tailor-made furniture, outdoor kitchen and fire table illustrate the dedication to high-quality finishes and intelligent details.
